Alums Give Back

This spring, St. Charles School was blessed to have four Malden Catholic High School students volunteer as part of their Senior Year Christian Service Project. Each Malden Catholic senior is required to fulfill 90 hours of service in order to graduate. Danny Moran, Michael Driscoll, Brendan Maloney, and John Fionda volunteered for three full weeks at SCS. Moran, Driscoll and Maloney are all alumni of St. Charles.

The gentlemen worked in classrooms with SCS students including Pre-K, and 3rd through 5th grades. They assisted the teachers with general classroom activities, read to the students, did art projects, and helped coach at recess and gym. We truly appreciate the time and energy that these young men dedicated to our students this past month. Next year Fionda will attend Slave Regina, Driscoll will attend St. Anselm’s, Maloney will attend Berkshire Prep, and Moran will attend Norwich University. Good luck and thank you!
